I hate trying to find jeans that fit. I think most women do. But when you're tiny, it's soooooooo much harder. I have been searching, and searching for jeans that fit. Loft changed their sizes a while back and now I can't fit in theirs, which were previously the only ones that fit. I even tried on MANY pairs yesterday when I went shopping... nada. I even had to go down to girls sizes at Old Navy, but they were too long. Back a week or so ago, I got a Delia's catalog in the mail and they were having a great sale. I figured I'd try, and BINGO! Cue the Hallelujah Chorus! They FIT! I think I've found my go-to spot for jeans! I really liked that you can choose the inseam length, so I knew when I checked 28 inches, that they would not be too long. I wore them today and they are beyond comfy. The only downside was that I do not own a pair of boots (aside from my "moon boots" for the snow), so I had to wear my flats. They unfortunately were the wrong shoes for the job when there's two inches of snow on the ground. I'm sure the people at Wal-Mart and IGA got a kick out of my prancing through the parking lot trying to keep my feet dry. Sigh...
Kate had her eye exam today and all is well and healthy. She is a little more near sighted than she was last January, but he said it wasn't enough to warrant new glasses at this point. If before next year she breaks them, wants new, or has any trouble, he wants to "up" her prescription. That was good news since she really likes the frames she has and didn't want to get new ones.
