Last night I got an email from mom. Granny and Pa are still in Florida, staying at Jeff's. Granny fell out of bed and cut her eye on the hardwood floor. It was in need of stitched but she steri-stripped it and called it a day. She says she has a black eye to accompany it. Then Pa fell over Jeff's dog and broke a few ribs- at least they think- both are too stubborn to see a doctor. I hope they're both healing well.
The good news is that they are heading home this Saturday and after staying the night with Greg in Savannah, they will be coming straight home. I emailed them weather reports so they know they won't be running into any winter weather along the way. We are so excited to see them- they've been gone since Christmas. I keep looking out the back door each day at their house even though I know they're not there. I can't wait until Monday when I can see their garage door open again and can go see them. Gotta make a welcome home sign, too. Preston made one, but wrote poop on it, so that one's not gonna work...
