Kate came home from school Monday saying that she had a boyfriend. She would'nt tell me who, but I later guessed. While guessing, we had the following conversation:
Me: Is it Levi?
K: No. Levi's in love with Jensen.
Me: In love?
K: Well, they've been in love since 3rd grade, but then they broke up, but they're back together.
Me: So do you love your boyfriend?
K: No, I just like him.
I finally guessed that it was Chase, and was relieved to find out that it wasn't Logan (better known as a future menace to society). We later had another conversation:
Me: So when you have a boyfriend in 5th grade, what do you do? Do you just walk around the playground together?
K: I don't know.
Me: How do you know he's your boyfriend? Did he ask you?
K: I don't know.
She hasn't really said much about it, but it's kind of cute. Right now it's no big deal. In a few years when she has a real boyfriend, yikes! I'm not ready for that one!
